What mistakes do newbie players of Realm of Valor usually make? What should you watch out for? Below are five common mistakes most beginners make and some tips on how to avoid them.
1. Heading out to slay soldiers right away

Many players’ first instinct is to head out to slay enemy soldiers right away, and they forget about those in the lanes. Some Heroes are best suited to guarding lanes, such as Mages and Archers.
It’s best to leave the Wilds to the Heroes who need to raid. Initial Carry Heroes, who have the Punish Challenger Skill, need to kill monsters in order to quickly level up. If you steal their monster kills, you will mess up their level growth. It's recommended that you send one or two Heroes into the wilds when you go out.
2. Immediately heading for the Garnak when it appears

Many beginners try to slay the Garnak as a group as soon as it appears, but you'll find that the first person to kill the Garnak often loses. Since all players are level 3-4 at the start of the game, it becomes extremely difficult to slay the Garnak. If the other team comes to kill the Garnak, they'll definitely start a group battle before doing so.
Pay attention to the action or your own team will be destroyed due to lack of blood or falling under attack, and your enemy will get to slay the Garnak.
3. Always send attack signals

In Realm of Valor, it is not wise to constantly send attack signals. We recommend that everyone sends a defense signal to warn your team to watch out for the towers when fighting the enemy.
Moreover, don't rush in to take the tower during a group battle. You should first kill monsters and attack soldiers to gain strength, while keeping an eye on the mini map to track your team's movement and offer immediate assistance if needed.
4. Choosing any Hero you like
When choosing a Hero, many players just go for their favorite, but then end up facing three strong opponents or three weak opponents. Our recommended formation would be: Tanks, Assassins, and Mages. The formation of these three Heroes is currently the most popular.
If choosing a different formation, you should always choose Heroes that complement each other. If the team lacks control or support, you must replace them right away, otherwise you will be defeated very easily.
5. Always attacking the front Tank

In a lot of battle situations, the reason for failure is often that players only focus on attacking the front line Heroes and forget about the Assassins in the rear. During group battle, remember to first kill the other team's Assassins or support Heroes. These often have a very low blood supply. If they aren't killed fast, your team will be risking defeat.
